Asidua CEO voted Technology Personality

Belfast, Northern Ireland [October 4, 2007]: Business Eye magazine has partnered with Ulster Television to launch a new business awards event for Northern Ireland in association with Bank of Scotland (Ireland). The awards honour Northern Ireland’s Business Personality of the Year, Company of the Year and a number of specialist categories. The winners were chosen by a panel of judges including UTV’s Business Correspondent Jamie Delargy, Business Eye Editor Richard Buckley and other leading Northern Ireland business journalists.

Asidua CEO Dr Steve Brankin has been voted UTV Business Eye Technology Personality of the Year at the 2007 awards ceremony at the Culloden Hotel & Spa.

UTV Head of Television, Michael Wilson, said: “UTV is delighted to back business awards that reflect the optimism and new climate here. We recognise that Northern Ireland needs a thriving business community to invigorate the economy. The best practice and best companies will be acknowledged in the awards and we look forward to giving these companies coverage on UTV.”
