Asidua supports Cares@Christmas

21st December 2007

Belfast, Northern Ireland [December 21, 2007]:

Asidua recently joined forces with other leading companies across Northern Ireland in demonstrating their collective commitment to the community by supporting the Cares @ Christmas campaign organised by Business in the Community (BitC).

Each Christmas, through the Cares @ Christmas initiative, responsible and generous companies and individuals are able to make a difference by donating gifts in an organised manner through workplaces and businesses. The Cares @ Christmas collection provides a very simple approach to tackling some difficult problems such as homelessness, loneliness and other disadvantaged groups. A Cares @ Christmas present can often be the only gift someone receives all year.

A total of over 3,000 gifts were collected  this year - 50% more than last year - helping to benefit 3,000 children across Northern Ireland this Christmas. Donations included TV’s, Hi-fi’s, bikes, games, children’s toys, CD’s, gift vouchers and much more.

This Christmas 45 responsible companies resolved to take part in the campaign along with Asidua. Included amongst these were Deloitte, HBOS, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Royal Mail and Ulster Bank.
