Belfast, Northern Ireland & Birmingham, England [December 14, 2007]: Asidua has just announced the opening of its new business services operation in the Coventry-Solihull-Warwickshire High Technology Corridor which will offer business services to both commercial enterprises and government agencies. The new offices at Blythe Valley Park near Birmingham are a further expansion of the privately-owned high technology company.

The new UK division known as Asidua (GB), has created 10 new jobs so far and has invested significantly in the West Midlands area. In addition the firm aims to recruit at least a dozen new software engineers - both seasoned professionals and recent ICT graduates - within the next twelve months.

Dr Steve Brankin, CEO, Asidua Ltd told us of Asidua’s growth and expansion plans: “As the founder of Northern Ireland headquarters Asidua Ltd, a successful, indigenous, fast growing, software consultancy I am delighted to expand the business and bring our services to UK commercial enterprises and government agencies as well as creating jobs in the West Midlands area”

Steve Sheppard, Managing Director, Asidua (GB) commented: “The arrival of Asidua GB in Britain is very exciting and will offer great employment opportunities for the area. This year Asidua celebrated its 5th successful year in business and entered Deloitte’s Fast 50 league of fast-growth technology companies. Asidua is widely regarded as a leading provider of software consultancy within Northern Ireland; we hope to gain this reputation in the GB market.”

Sheppard continued: “The investment in the GB market shows the loyalty of the company and Asidua’s growth throughout the UK. With the investment in the business and a great skill base recruited locally this will help us ensure our long term competitiveness in an ever growing sector.”
