Asidua joins “Business in the Community”
10th November 2006
Belfast, Northern Ireland [November 10, 2006]: Asidua recently signed up for a Charter with Business in the Community. By becoming a Northern Ireland member, Asidua is making a public commitment to improve its positive impact on society and support the growing movement of responsible business practice.
Business in the Community (BitC) seeks to help businesses become socially responsible and support companies by developing innovative campaigns and programmes focusing upon:
- environment
- workplace
- social impact
- economic impact
Through its membership the organisation helps companies recognise the link between responsible business practice and its core business objectives, and works in partnership with them to meet those objectives. Asidua plans to take an active part in the Business in the Community organised Cares@Christmas 2006 appeal, which helps provide gifts for those families who are less fortunate.
