“Sustained Growth” Prompts Recruitment Drive by Asidua

Belfast, Northern Ireland [June 29, 2006]: If you read last Friday's Belfast Telegraph "Jobfinder", you will almost certainly have noticed an advert from Asidua seeking applicants for a number of positions. The Belfast based software consultancy and services company has just launched a major recruitment drive to satisfy what CEO Dr Steve Brankin has described as “another year of sustained growth and continued success”.

Steve continues; “Within the last year Asidua has registered a strong upsurge in interest for its service offerings. Recent successes include deals with public and private sector clients that have resulted in the delivery of complex ICT solutions in the Irish Republic, GB, Germany and even as far away as China. However, as our business has expanded we have remained mindful of the reasons why clients want to work with Asidua; namely our drive to overachieve in every project, our absolute dedication to quality and most importantly, our outstanding team of software professionals. To maintain this edge we are investing heavily in our human resources. This will include bolstering our staff numbers to 150 over the next two years and the implementation a structured programme of training and development for all existing employees.”

As well as enjoying continued commercial success, the Asidua team has been celebrating Steve’s inclusion on the shortlist for Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Steve has been short listed in the ‘Emerging’ category along with seven other companies. As a finalist Steve will attend a CEO Retreat in Shanghai that includes master classes by two of the world’s leading business thinkers from Harvard Business School and the MIT Entrepreneurship Centre. The intense nine day programme will also give Steve the opportunity for one-to-one meetings with Chinese business leaders and local entrepreneurs as well as networking sessions with previous Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalists.
