Asidua takes “Gold Award” for excellence in Payroll Giving
4th April 2006
Asidua is delighted to receive "Gold Award" recognition under the Payroll Giving Scheme. Payroll Giving enables employees to donate to any UK charity straight from their gross salary -before tax is deducted - and to receive immediate tax relief of up to £4 for every £10 donated. For a company to achieve Gold Award status, 10% or more of its employees must participate in the scheme.
Asidua Director Gervais Henderson, who set the scheme up within Asidua, commented: “We are delighted to have received this recognition. Once we agreed to join the scheme we embarked upon a carefully structured awareness-raising programme. Our employees have responded enthusiastically to this and today 30% of Asidua staff are participating in payroll giving to a range of charities.”
The payroll giving Awards reward employers for fostering a culture of committed giving in the workplace by actively promoting Payroll Giving. Gold Awards are the highest symbol of excellence, recognising those employers that are making a difference together through Payroll Giving, benefiting good causes and employees alike.
