29th June 2005
Belfast, Northern Ireland [June 29, 2005]: Asidua was a key sponsor at the MENCAP Race Evening at Down Royal racecourse. The event raised almost £40,000 for the charity that helps improve the lives and opportunities of people with learning disabilities. Asidua sponsored the third race: the Asidua Maiden Hurdle, which was won by Sue Sue trained by Gerard Stack.
The company’s involvement in the event forms part of a policy of corporate social responsibility. Sales and Marketing Director Bob McClean comments, “Asidua is committed to supporting a range of good causes. We were pleased on this occasion to help MENCAP’s fundraising at what proved to be a very enjoyable evening for us and our customers.”
