Asidua and Fujitsu agree 3-year “Broadband Solutions” contract

Belfast, Northern Ireland [January 15. 2004]: Asidua has secured a three-year contract with Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd for the production of embedded software for broadband telecommunications solutions. The contract will run until December 2006 and the work will be carried out at Asidua's offices at Lanyon Place, Belfast and at Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe HQ in Birmingham.

Due to continued expansion within the broadband solutions industry, Fujitsu has a need to augment its in-house engineering resources by contracting out some of its leading edge development work. Asidua is now a strategic partner in the specification, design, implementation and validation of all real-time embedded software for Fujitsu's Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) portfolio. The company is well positioned to support Fujitsu as it has an excellent track record within this technology arena and has previously worked with Fujitsu on similar contracts of a smaller scale.
