Asidua’s Summer BBQ will take place on Friday 13th August in the Belfast area and is open to employees and their families and/or friends.
As always, they are tying the event in with the companies CSR initiative with a charity raffle. Both Asidua's CSR committee and Sports and Social will be donating some excellent prizes for this worthwhile cause with all donations going to the NSPCC.

As Asidua’s Charity of the Year we are encouraging you to help support the NSPCC by donating any spare clothing that you may have to the clothing appeal.
Not only will you create some extra space, but if you donate any good clean clothing and unwanted items (shoes, bags, belts, blankets, curtains, bed linen etc) to the ChildLine Clothing Appeal, you'll be able to help ChildLine raise funds to answer more calls from children and young people in distress.
Last year, over half a million children and young people called ChildLine, amounting to 2.7 million calls. Many of them had to call more than once before they got through. Over two thirds (67 per cent) of calls did get answered by their switchboards. However, of the children who then needed in-depth counselling, only 40 per cent received this service from one of their counsellors.
Asidua, supported by Linfield Properties, has extended this clothing appeal to all the tenants within Weavers Court Business Park in the hope of raising even more funds for the NSPCC Child Voice Appeal.

This June sees integration specialists Asidua sponsor the SOLACE West and East Midlands Conference 2010, which is taking place on the 17-18th June at The Lea Marston Hotel in Sutton Coldfield.
This conference will provide a valuable opportunity to network with local authority colleagues and officers from other public sector organisations in the region, as well as to hear speakers on a range of significant issues impacting on local government. The event is being hosted at Asidua’s corporate headquarters. It will include a management presentation, a tour of Asidua premises, and presentation of scholarship awards for the successful scholars and their families.
The scholarship programme is part of Asidua’s ongoing focus on encouraging people to enter into a career in IT, proactively engaging with local universities and participating in Government initiatives and workshops as part of an overarching career attractiveness campaign for the ICT Sector.

2009 will see data and integration specialists, Asidua, continue their sponsorship of the Annual Northern Ireland Civil Service ICT Conference.
The theme of this years conference, which takes place at the Radisson SAS Roe Park Resort, Limavady on the 20th-21st of October, is "Moving On.". The conference will be attended by over 150 ICT and Business people from the NI Government Departments, NIO and some from other public sector bodies such as the NI Housing Executive and councils.
