Asidua obtain ISO 27001 Information Security accreditation

Building on recent business successes, global IT software services provider, Asidua, has announced a further significant achievement with the award of the ISO 27001 Information Security accreditation.

Since forming in 2002, Asidua has been actively committed to the key principles of ISO 9001 Quality Management, to help them deliver world-class services to their global client base.  Recently the data and telecom integration specialists enhanced their successful working practices with their award of the ISO 27001 Information Security accreditation.

“To build on our current ISO 9001 & Accredit UK certifications, we were keen to look at ways to help enhance our existing Quality Management System,” said Paul Matthews, Asidua Quality Manager. “We started by examining current standards that could help us define a fully Integrated Management System and so help us deliver a more compete quality of service to our global client base.”

Paul continued: “Following an internal management review of our processes and practices, we recognised that the integration of ISO 27001 Information Security to our existing Quality Management System would help us deliver an improved service offering, while also increasing the security of our client data and information.”  As a result of their review, Asidua independently introduced an Integrated Management System throughout the company.

After their successful implementation, the data and telecoms integration specialists sought to benchmark their Integrated Management System against the industry recognised ISO 27001 Information Security standard.  To help realise this, the company turned to the UK’s national standards body, the BSI Group, to undertake a formal assessment. 

“Following the onsite formal assessment from the BSI Group, Asidua are delighted to announce the successful award of ISO 27001 Information Security accreditation,” said Asidua Chief Operations Officer, Angela Canavan.  “This new accreditation helps highlight the embodiment of one of our core company values, in that we continually seek to improve through innovation.”

“We are confident that our ISO 9001, Accredit UK and now ISO 27001 accredited Integrated Management System, will help us ensure that the quality of our service deliverables remains high, while at the same time, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of our customer data,” concluded Angela.
