Asidua awarded phase 2 of NI Water project DIAMOND

Asidua, a worldwide provider in application of data integration, today announced their continued engagement with NI Water with the award of Phase 2 of the multi million pound program “Project DIAMOND” - DELIVERING INTEGRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF NI WATER DATA.

DIAMOND Phase 1, which was successfully completed in March this year, saw Asidua use their Application & Data Integration (ADI) methodology, the Microsoft SOA suite and their toolset to implement end-to-end automated processes and develop interfaces into existing NI Water applications.

Building on the successful Phase 1 deployment, DIAMOND Phase 2 will see the integration specialists assist NI Water integrate core systems into the newly created DIAMOND Data Warehouse. The award of DIAMOND Phase 2 will see the engagement between Asidua and NI Water stretch into the final quarter of 2009.

Commenting on the continued engagement Bob McClean, Sales and Marketing Director for Asidua, said; “The successful completion of DIAMOND Phase 1 has seen NI Water begin to better leverage their current ICT assets in improving the availability of information within their business operations and in doing so, reduce operation costs. The award of DIAMOND Phase 2 represents another important business win for Asidua, and we look forward to extending our successful engagement with NI Water further into 2009.”
