Placement Engineer - Belfast

We have just entered another phase of expansion and are keen to attract high calibre Placement Engineers to join our team. Our projects cover a broad spectrum of technologies and industry verticals ranging from development of embedded real-time software components which form integral parts of telecommunication systems that enable high-speed internet, to construction of inter-application message brokers which streamline business processes in public sector departments.

As a Placement Engineer you will join a team that comprises between 2-10 people that is led by highly experienced engineers. If you have a passion for technology and problem solving, and enjoy being challenged you will find Asidua a very rewarding place to work.

Suitable Applicant Description
Ideally, candidates should be working towards obtaining a First or Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong aptitude for development of systems in Java, .NET, C or C++ using industry-standard development toolkits. High-calibre students working towards a scientific or mathematical first degree, with an ability to pick up rapidly new concepts and skills, will also be considered suitable for this role.
