Charity of the Year

Asidua Charity fo the YearAsidua has always placed CSR at the heart of its business operations.  In 2010 Asidua introduced a new initiative – The Asidua Charity of the Year

This new initiative sees Asidua engage and support a specific employee nominated charity each year.  Asidua’s charity of the year for 2010-2011 is NSPCC.

The NSPCC‘s vision is to end cruelty to children in the UK. Inspired by this belief they launched the Child’s Voice Appeal in September 2008. The aim of the appeal is to raise enough money to help transform the NSPCC’s helplines and so give every child a voice.

To support this worthy campaign, the Asidua CSR team have come up with a full calendar of events for the year.

The funds raised by Asidua will help NSPCC to ensure, through ChildLine and the NSPCC helpline, that the most vulnerable children and young people in our society will have the help they need.

Company Values

Asidua Company ValuesOur Company values underpin everything that we do within the entire Asidua Group, and these include;

  1. Customer problems are our problems
    This means that we must gain insight into the customer’s business and his problem domain in order to be able to produce solutions that meet the customer needs. The behaviour also includes showing empathy with the customer when examining problems

  2. People are our company
    Asidua is a services-based business. Services are produced by people, not by an automated production line. To keep the business thriving we must keep our people thriving in terms of development, motivation, health and well-being.

    Within Asidua we felt it was important to benchmark ourselves against the industry recognised Investor in People Standard in order to determine the effectiveness of our people management processes and identify areas where we had not yet attained best practice.  This high level commitment to our people was recognised when we successfully attained Investor in People in March 2009.

  3. We seek innovation
    A vital part of Asidua’s behaviour is to continually improve, and we seek this through innovation. Innovation does not always mean creating something new, but also removing inefficient processes, re-using something we already have. We aim to bring innovation to our customers to improve their businesses.

  4. We act with integrity
    Asidua performs all its business activities with integrity. This not only means acting within legal frameworks, but also means that we treat everyone with whom we engage (customers, partners, suppliers and employees) with fairness and respect.

  5. We continually learn so that we are the best at everything we do
    Asidua’s business is technology based, within globalised markets and a globalised economy; all these aspects change fast thus continual learning is vital in order to continue to operate. On top of this, Asidua employs a higher level of learning so that Asidua’s service offering and delivered solutions are the best that they can be.
